Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend your scheduled therapy appointment, please provide twenty-four hours advance notice of cancellation to avoid being billed for that session. This includes clients covered by insurance.

LATE CANCELLATIONS: If you have not provided at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay 50% of the cost of the session.

NO-SHOWS: If you miss your session completely, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Confidentiality Policy

Under most circumstances our sessions are completely confidential.  There are some circumstances however, in which I am required by law (RCW 18.225.105) to report information about sessions and possibly reveal your identity. These circumstances include: if I assess there is imminent danger to yourself or someone else, if there is suspected child or elder abuse, or abuse of the disabled.  If my records are subpoenaed, then I am required to provide them.  If I am subpoenaed to court and a judge compels me to identify you, I shall.

In addition, I regularly review my work with a supervisor who is also bound by confidentiality.  If and when it is necessary to consult with this individual regarding my work with a client, I make every effort to protect the client's anonymity.
